About:Fuzhou Changle International Airport

Transit of 13 hours at Fuzhou Airport

Hi there,
I am on a New Zealand passport. Traveling: Sydney -> FZ -> Nanjing
I have a stop of 13 hours.
I have a 30 day visa for China.
I was wondering if I can leave the airport and stay in a hotel close by in Fuzhou? And if yes, which hotels would you recommend?

Yes, you can apply for a stay permit in the airport and then leave. The Baixiang Holiday Hotel Haiying Bay located at No.1 Yingbin Avenue is recommended. It costs about CNY600 per night. By the way, they have free pick-up service.

Thanks for that Dave.

Just wondering, why would I need a stay permit if I already have a 30 day visa. That is my entry into China right? The next flight out from Fuzhou to Nanjing is a domestic one.

Oh, sorry I just forgot it. Then you don't need a stay permit.
