X1 Visa, can this be done in China?
My X2 visa expires at June 27th which was applied for my highschool period (which is in china). And then I got into a university in China which starts at August 14th, and I heard I have to apply for X1 visa in my home country, and can't enter China too early. However I really don't have no good place to stay long term (30 days plus) in my home country so I want to come back to China as soon as possible (since all my family member is here). Is it possible for me to apply for tourist visa for short period of time and then apply for X1 visa after arrival in China?
