About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

duration stay in china

i am holding a Singapore passport which allows Singaporeans to stay in china for 15 days visa free. For example, if i enter and reside in shanghai for 10 days, leave for japan for 5 days, when i return back to shanghai, can i still stay for another 15 days or only 5 days left? thank you.

Every entry allows you to stay 15 days.

If you leave for Japan, the 15 days count again the next time you enter.
