X2 Visa Urgent: I need a second entry

Hi there, I have an issue where I have plans to stay in China for 56 nights exactly (july 14 onwards) and was planning to apply for a X2 study visa for that duration of my stay in Shanghai. However, it has come to my knowledge that I will have to go back to my country (Indonesia) due to an urgent matter that has cropped up during the first to the second week of August. My stay in Indonesia will last for a few days (3-4 days) before I have to head back to China to finish up my study course.
My question is: Is it true that X2 Visas are one-time only entry, and if that is the case, what would be the best way for me to get a second entry back into China?

Dear, not all X2 are single entry types, so you should figure out what type you have obtained. If you hold single entry type, you can convert it to double entries type at local Public Security Bureau.
