Can i use my husband check(american bank) when paying the hk police clearance?

I've worked in Hk few years back and i need to get a police clearance, my problem is how can i get the bank draft? So is it okay if I'll use the check from my husband's bank in the USA? Please need some help..

Payment by cash, Octopus cards, EPS or crossed cheques payable to "The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region" are accepted.
