How to understand validity date of a Chinese Visa

Hello,

I am a student in Beijing and graduating in July 2019 my visa is valid until 31st July 2019. I want to visit a few places before leaving China. Is it ok if I book a ticket to home country on 30th July 2019?

Do you have a residence permit of China? If yes, you just need to leave before the residence permit expires. If you cancel it at the local Exit and Entry Administration, it's possible that the officer will give you one extra month for some sightseeing.
