About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Philippines passport holder transit

My family will be traveling from Hawaii to the Philippines via transit in Beijing Capital Apt (PEK). Their transit is less than 24 hours. They’re booked to Beijing Airport Lanwan International hotel for transit stay. Will they be eligible to 24 visa-free?

Please advise!

Thank you very much!

Since your stay within mainland China for transit purposes is less than 24 hours, they are definitely eligible for 24 hours visa free transit. They will apply for 24 hours free entry permit upon landing in Beijing and present a booking of the hotel you have mentioned. They will get a sticker in the passport and after that will leave the airport.
