About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

One day china visa for philippine passport holder

As philippine passport holder, can i apply for one day china visa during my layover in beijing so i can visit the great wall and other nearby tourist destinations?

Actually, there is no such thing as "one day Chinese visa (on arrival)". You are allowed to visit Beijing and the surroundings only by applying for 24 hours free entry permit when flying on 24 hours visa free transit and I assume that you were thinking exactly about that. Anyway, your layover in Beijing has to be long enough to be granted the mentioned permit and even then you have to know that the issuing of entry permit is always upon discretion of immigration official. The only alternative is to obtain pre-arranged Chinese visa, but it would be entirely uneconomic for just one day.
