Is two weeks enough time to apply to a Visa?

I am looking to go to China on the 1st week of July, leaving me just over two weeks to obtain my Visa. I am a UK resident and a Polish citizen. Do you recommend I apply for the Visa at the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre in London?

I should specify I am applying for a tourist Visa, staying for 60 days. Will I need to renew it after my first 30 days in China?

Julia, you should apply at CVASC in London. Plus, you may try to apply for tourist L type with a stay of 60 days. If you don't get, you can extend your stay at local PSB upon arrival in China.
