About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 Hours Transit without visa

I arrive on a Monday morning into Shanghai from the UK and depart Shanghai on the Wednesday leaving for Tokyo. Can i do this on the 72 Hr Free Visa?

Of course, you can. You should have in mind that your flights from UK to Shanghai and from Shanghai to Tokyo should not have any additional landing(s) within mainland China. Also, 72 hours scheme was replaces in Shanghai by 144 hours scheme a couple of years ago.
