About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Where do you apply this? Airport of flight departure to Guangzhou or at Guangzhou itself?

I have a transfer time of 3 hours at Guangzhou to Manila so id provably need this. Do i apply this when i get to Guangzhou? or at the Airport where ill depart my connecting flight to Guangzhou?

You tell the check-in agent in Manila that you will be "in transit without visa" and show them your onward confirmed flight ticket. International to international transits at Guangzhou are very straightforward, just follow the signs.
