Extending visa due to changing school/university
Hi, what is the procedure if you enter on say an X2 visa to attend one university for the fall semester, but are intending to attend a different university in a different city for the spring semester. I assume the initial visa will be tied to your time at the first school, but can you then extend it to cover study at the second or would you have to exit China and reapply with the new JW201/2 doc? Could you transfer the initial X2 into a tourist one prior to leaving and re-entering (given that most courses have a gap between each semester). Thanks!
