About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I do Hong-Kong - Shanghai - Hong Kong, visa-free for less than 72h ?

Hello, I am in Hong Kong for an internship and I was wondering if I could go to Shanghai using thee visa-free transit to stay the week-end (less than 72h) or the third destination is needed ?

Of course the third destination is needed. For example, Hong Kong-Shanghai-Macao.
