About:China Visa on Arrival

We, a family of 5, holders of Australian passports we wish to visit Zhuhai thro HK via HMZB.

We plan to visit the Chimelong Ocean Kingdom for 2 or three days only. Are we eligible to get a 144 hours visa free transit? Do we need to do any tour and hotel booking for the trip before hand? We have got return air tickets Melbourne/HK/Melbourne on hand. Thanks.

Unfortunately, you are not allowed to use 144 hours visa free transit option for your travel itinerary because to enjoy this option you would have to travel to Guangdong province (to Guangzhou) by air from Hong Kong and after that to return to Macau and after that to Hong Kong.

Your only and really the most practical option is Zhuhai VOA that is perfectly available at HZMB upon arrival at the cost of 168 CNY per person.
