About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

My husband and I are on a 22night cruise from Shanghai to Sydney Australia, Do we qualify?

We board the Majestic Princess Cruise Liner on 26/08/2019. Our itinerary is as follows:
26/08/2019 - Depart port in Shanghai
27/08/2019 - At Sea
28/08/2019 - Arrive Busan, South Korea
29/08/2019-30/08/2019 - At Sea
31/08/2019 - Arrive Hong Kong
01/09/2019 - At Sea
02/09/2019 - Arrive Nha Trang, Vietnam
03/09/2019 - Arrive Ho Chi Minch City (phu my) Vietnam
04/09/2019 - At Sea
05/09/2019 - Arrive Singapore
06/09/2019-09/09/2019 At Sea
10/09/2019 - Arrive Darwin Australia
22/09/2019-14/09/2019 - At Sea
15/09/2019 - Arrive Brisbane Australia
16/09/2019 - At Sea
17/09/2019 - Arrive Sydney Australia (Disembark)

Good Morning

Thank you for your reply.

My husband and I fly in from Melbourne Australia to Singapore, then on from Singapore to Shanghai and arrive on 25/08/2019. We don't have the flight itinerary as the travel agent won't pass those on until the time gets closer e.g. 45days before travel.

The mentioned itinerary is definitely eligible for 144 hours visa free transit, but we miss just one portion of your itinerary and that is your flight to Shanghai.

OK, if your flight from Australia does not have any additional landing within mainland China and South Korea, then you are reconfirmed to have right to enjoy 144 hours visa free transit.

If your flight itinerary is Melbourne - Singapore - Shanghai, you are perfectly eligible for 144 hours visa free transit in Shanghai.
