hi,we planning to travel to shaolin temple from shanghai,how to travel by train?

how many time  trains goes from Shanghai? where can I get train time table?and can we go and come back in 1 day?.Thank you

It is recommended to take the train, and there are dozens of trains between these two places every day. The ordinary train takes about 14 hours and high speed train takes about 5 hours. After you arriving there, you can go to the local Coach Station to take direct bus to Shaolin temple. I'm afraid you can't come back in 1 day.
