About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Im in China and want to change visa type

im in china on S1 visa with my husband, who is a student there.
Now I also got admission in university and scholarship. I have to change visa from S1 to X1
How can I change visa type while I am already in China? what is the process?

The process is very similar to applying outside through Chinese embassy, but you must go to the local Public Security Bureau (PSB) Exit and Entry Administration office.
