About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is it possible to travel UK-Chongqing-HK-Beijing-UK visa-free?

If I make a transit in Chongqing, then continue to Hong Kong, stay there for two days and travel back to the UK via Beijing (staying in Beijing another few days), can I do it without a visa, and would there be a mínimum stay in Hong Kong?

Yes that is fine as long as the one HK you list above is the only HK landing and you make no other mainland stops. Stop in HK counts no matter how long you stop, even if you stay inside the airport
