About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I transit from Shangai to Beijing on the visa free police?

I'm flying Honk Kong - Beijing - Brazil, however, I would like to do HK - Shanghai - Beijing - Brazil. Is that possible?

Two stops in China immediately limits you to 24 hours transit without visa. 144 hours allows transit in the Beijing or the Shanghai areas, but not both.
