About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Any issue with my 2nd entry to China wiht respect to lack of a visa?

I am a Canadian. During my 8-day stay in Hong Kong, I might want to spend 2-1/2 days in Guangzhou. But when I first fly from Toronto to Hong Kong, I would have already enjoyed a visa free entry during my transit in Shanghai. Do I need to apply for a visa to China, before I leave home?

Hi, is your itinerary Hong Kong - Guangzhou - Hong Kong? If yes, you need to apply for Chinese visa.
