About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24 Hour Visa-Free Transit and sightseeing in Beijing - Do I need anything in advance?

I have a ticket from BUDAPEST-MUNICH-BEIJING arriving 10:35 AM, and leaving next day 8:25 AM BEIJING-BUSAN ticket. Both tickets were purchased same time from Lufthansa site. My question is, am I okay with the 24 Hour Visa-Free Transit, and can I go sightseeing to Beijing?
Do I need to do anything in advance, applying online, or when checking in in Budapest just tell the airline? Or after arriving at the airport shall I stay in a line for application (to be able to leave the airport), or I get the acceptance with a stamp during just exiting the airport? Thanks for your answer!

Actually, as a Hungary passport holder, you can make use of the 144h visa-free transit in Beijing. You don't need to do anything in advance except that to tell the airline when you are boarding. After arriving at the airport, you will queue up to get a 144h stay permit sticker on your passport.
