About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

I have a q2 visa for 120 days and 10 years.After 120 can I go to Hong Kong & go back for another 120

After 120 days of stay in China with q2 , can I leave to hong kong and come back to china to receive another 120 day stay? I am a US Citizen. Thank you!

My wife is a Chinese Citizen and she's about to have a baby so I'm trying to find ways to stay longer.

Yes. However you may want to consider a Q1 visa and the associated family-based residence permit (unless you live in Shenzhen or Zhuhai where you can travel to the border daily). Talk to the Exit and Entry Administration in the region you currently live to see if you qualify for one.

Hi, You need to apply for Q1 first and then apply for family based residence permit.
