About:China Customs Declaration

Importing Chinese silver jewelry

If we want to bring perhaps $5000 of jewelry from China to sell into USA as American citizen, do I just pay tax after proving value by receipts? If so how much?

Yes, you need to pay the tax. But I am not sure about the tax fare. You need to consult the staff at the custom.
