About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I'm travelling to Beijing in August for a wedding, and I was looking into if I needed a visa for my stay and came across this article... I'm a UK Citizen (so eligible for the 72 hours), I'll be arriving in Beijing from Vancouver on Friday 2:10pm, and have a flight to Seoul on Monday 1:30pm, making my stay 71 hrs and 40 mins... will I have an issue if my flight to South Korea is delayed at all? or once I'm in the airport through security am I ok?
