About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Swedish nationality, iraq as birth country

Hello! Me and my husband will soon to be married and planned our honeymoon to China. We did everything right, booked flight, hotels everything and then applied for a visa (because in Sweden you have to do all that first). We applied and received a message that we're not allowed to enter because our birth country was Iraq (we left Iraq as 2 and 3 year olds). Is there anything we could do? Our passports are Swedish, nationality Swedish, everything Swedish.

Thanks for your help!

Hi, you can contact with Chinese Embassy in Sweden and confirm the information again. If the Chinese Embassy say that you are not allowed to enter China, there is nothing to do.
