About:China Family Reunion Visa

Son in school

My son will be in School in China for the next year. Can myself and/or my wife get a Q visa to enable us to look after him? I would be working overseas.

The Q visa is only for relatives of Chinese or foreigners with permanent Chinese residency. If your son is not a Chinese and has no permanent residency there, you can't get the Q type. If you want to work in China, you can apply for a Z type. If you want to attend your son, but not work, you can apply for an S type.
