About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

Can I fly from Taiwan to Guangzhou and then depart by rail from Shenzhen to Hong Kong

and still use the 144 visa-free transit option?

In theory yes as long as you have the train ticket before you arrive in Guangzhou. In practice its so new not a ton of reports on how the process is going.
