apply for hong kong visa from cairo-egypt

Hello, I am Somali Citizen, I would like to find out if I can submit for visa to HK for Royal college of clinical radiology Exam purpose from the Chinese embassy in the Cairo ? or do I need to mail my application to the Immigration department in HK? If both options are possible, which one will be faster?the exam date is at 13 and 14 June/2019 can i get visa before that time to attend it?Thanks.

Hi，both options are OK. The processing usually takes 4 working days if you submit your application to Chinese Embassy in Cairo. While it will take over 1 month if your application need to be transferred to the Immigration Department in HK for approval. And it will take around 4 weeks if you mail your application directly to the Immigration Department of HKSAR Government. You can submit your application to Chinese Embassy first.
