About:Hong Kong Trains - High Speed Rail

Visa’s

I’m hoping to get the 144 hour visa on arrival at Beijing West but have been told that this won’t be granted if I travel by the bullet train as it makes several stops along the way? Is this correct and my only option is the overnight train?

The high speed train from HK to Beijing did cannot work for 144 hours visa as your entrance city is HK, where you will go through immigration check, not in Beijing. The immigration check for overnight one should be in Beijing, so I suppose this one should work.
