I got a Q1 Visa, and I already changed it for Chinese Residence Permit, can I work ?

A year ago I got the Q1 visa (My parents are Chinese, but a long time ago I changed my nationality) and then changed to the Chinese residence permit. I´ve been with this permit for already 1 year, can I work legally?

PS: Before my Q1 visa, I had a student visa for 3 years, so in total, I´ve been in China for 4 years (if that matters)

No. The only way to work legally is under a Z visa which requires you to forfeit your family-based residence permit. Although enforcements are nearly non-existent if you are of Chinese ancestry, you will soon find that most companies would not hire someone without a valid Chinese ID card.
