Best area to stay in Zhongdian

Is it better to stay in dukezong ancient town or nearby the coach station in the modern town?
With two full days in Zhongdian can we cover pudaco national park, Napa lake, songzalin monastery and shika mountain?

It is suggested to stay in the ancient town and 2 days are a little tight. If you hire a private car, then it may be possible.
