About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

will i be able to stay in Beijing for 144 hours or 72 hours without a visa

i am uk citizen hoping to traveling from Hong Kong to Beijing and then on to Bangkok will i be able to stay in Beijing for 144 hours or 72 hours without a visa

Your itinerary Hong Kong - Beijing - Bangkok along with your citizenship, makes you perfectly eligible for 144 hours visa free transit in Beijing. You should just take care that your flight from Beijing to Bangkok does not have any additional landing within mainland China and/or Hong Kong.
