Definitely will go to the bund area, tianzifang, xintiandi, and nanjing road area, lujiazui, and zhujiajiao so far. 1. could you recommend me the accommodation to stay and strategic location to stay in the city? preferably nearby subway station if possible :)2. And for public transportation in the city, as far as i know, there are subway and bus, 3. should i buy public transport card to commute there? 4. or just buy single ticket at ticket machine in every subway? which one is cheaper?5. or any tourist travel pass for commuting subway metro and bus?

I think you can purchase a card since you can return it after the trip. 3. It is more convenient to use a transportation card.4. You can also buy Three-day Travel Pass, but it can only be used in metro lines within 72 hours. It costs CNY45.
