About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi !! Does this way is ok for the 144 hr Visa? I m carrying Australia passport

My flight from Melbourne( AUS) to Sydney (aus) to Beijing ( for 3 day ) then flight back to Hong Kong ( i wouldn't stay there) back to Melbourne.
Does it work?

Of course. Your itinerary is definitely eligible for 144 hours visa free transit in Beijing. You should have your flight tickets and accommodation booking in printed form upon your landing in Beijing.
