Can i travel by train only with visa and passport copy?

I think based on the policy, only copy cannot work. You need original travel document0

Where is your passport? If it is with the government (like getting a new visa) then you should you the document they give you as a receipt. Mine is a piece of paper with my passport details and my photo . I asked specifically for a “travel document “ but I think that you get it anyway. I took this, with a photocopy of my passport ID page and visa - no one looked at the photocopies though! It was ok for hotels too.0
