About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

Form busan-tianjin, from Tianjin train to Beijing, stay for 5 nights fly to Osaka Japan.

I feel I should have allowed to use 144 hours, but no too sure?
Please help out!

This is the route:

Busan (South Korea) - Tianjin & BJ (China) - Osaka (Japan).

The route of this kind is perfectly eligible for 144 hours visa free transit. As far as I have understood from your subject is that you will arrive to Busan from Yokohama. Anyway, this is really irrelevant because only the points immediately before and after Tianjin & BJ matter and they are Busan and Osaka.

Your itinerary Busan (South Korea) - Tianjin & BJ (China) - Osaka (Japan) is perfectly eligible for 144 hours visa free transit. Please, just have in mind that Tianjin has to be your first port call after your departure from Busan!
