About:China Transit Visa

Transit Visa for Malaysian

Hi! Thank you for helping out! I am a Malaysian and am looking to transit in Beijing from Japan for an onward flight to Hong Kong. Does that mean I need to apply for a transit visa and how much would that cost? Thank you

You as Malaysian citizen can use 24 hours visa free transit through China. So, all you should do is to count the hours from your scheduled arrival in Beijing from Japan and your scheduled departure from Beijing to Hong Kong. In case that your transit process takes less than 24 hours, you can travel visa free for free :).
