Ghana passport to apply for Chinese visa in Macau

I want to apply for z visa for mainland china . I learnt they sometimes tell people to go to their country to apply . Is it possible they will allow me apply with my Ghana passport .i already have a student permit in china

There are more successful cases in Hong Kong, so I advise you to go there to try your luck, but still you have a chance to be asked to go back to your country for the application.
