About:Macau Visa Policy

China Passport holder

So china passport holders get visa upon arrival right? Even if I'll be going to Macau via ferry from HK? How much would it be and what currency do they accept?

ROC passport holders get 30 days visa exemption while PRC passport holders are exempted for 7 days only when transiting to a third country or region (however HK-Macau-Mainland China does not count). Otherwise PRC passport holders need a two-way permit and an entry endorsement to Macau on said permit. If your route is HK-Macau-HK or HK-Macau-Zhuhai, then a PRC passport won't work and you most likely will be refused boarding by the ferry company unless holding a two-way permit.
