About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi I am Chilean flying from Hong Kong to Toronto with stop over in Beijing. Do I need visa for that?

No, you don't. As a Chilean citizen you are allowed to stay in Beijing for 144 hours visa free transit. Just have all the necessary documentation (fligh tickets and accommodation booking confirmation) in printed form. Also, your flights Hong Kong - Beijing and Beijing - Toronto should not have any other landing within mainland China.
