About:Yuanyang Rice Terraces

Visiting YuanYuang rice terrace in mid May

Hi,
Is it worthwhile to visit there in mid May? Is this the place to see the red soil terrace?
How do i get there and where do i stay? How many days is needed?

You can go to visit there in mid May. But you cannot see the red soil terrace. If you want, you need to go to Dongchuan Red Land Scenic Area.

From Kunming to the rice terrace, you can take a coach from South Coach Station to Yuanyang Xinjie Town first. After arriving, hire a private car to the destination. Generally speaking, 2 days' time is enough.
