About:Tianmen Mountain (Heaven's Gate)

I'll arrive at the Zhangjiajie Airport at 11:20, so I'll do a late visit to the mountain.

Regarding the opening hours (8:00-17:00) this means that at 17:00 the park closes no one is inside or just the entrance door is closed. There are buses or cable car after 17:00 to go back to the city? I don't want to miss the glass sky walks or the 999 ladder or the cave. is it possible? Thanks

The time is tight and you may queue a long time for something like cable cars. It may be hard for you to visit all the sights in such limited time. You can stay overnight in the near town Wulingyuan and then explore the next day. The last bus from the park to the city area is at about 18:00. However, the las bus back to city from Wulingyuan Bus Station is at around 20:00
