Seoul - Shanghai - Hong Kong. I have a French passport.

I'm planning to fly from Seoul, South Korea to Shanghai (3 days stay). Then I'd like to take a train from Shanghai to Hong Kong. Am I eligible for the 144h transit visa despite leaving with the train?
