About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I fly into Shenzhen and out of Hong Kong on a TWOV?

I am interested in visiting Shenzhen for one day before going to Hong Kong. Would it be possible to get a 24-hour TWOV, as long as I have proof of departure via ferry to Hong Kong within 24 hours?

24 hour TWOV at Shenzhen does not apply if you’re departing for Hong Kong or Macao.
