I have plans to marry a Chinese lady, what type of visa do I need to live with her in China

After you get your marriage certificate, you can apply for family Q type to live in mainland China with your wife.

Thank you Rose!! After we are married in the USA, is it simpler, or better to get the Q-2 permit in the USA, or wait till we get to China? Thanks!, Martin

You should apply for the Q-2 visa from the consulate general in the USA.
