About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Unable to obtain a printed exit ticket

Does/have anybody obtained a transit visa using a printed itinerary with confirmed seats? I was advised to print a ticket with long number but Airline is unable to supply until I checked in. Online checkin requires me to verify my documentation.

For a transit visa, you have to go to the chinese embassy to apply for it.

If you wanna use the twov (it's not a transit visa) you don't need confirmed seats.
Just print out the e-ticket, that's ok.

Thanks,
But I can’t print an e ticket because the airline needs me to verify my passport. All I have is an itinerary and a screen shot with unable to issue ticket.

Did you pay the flight?
Then you have a e-ticket.
Does your itinerary has the e-ticket number printed on?
That's all you need.

So what's stopping you from verifying your passport exactly? Some airlines do have that practice (usually Asian ones) and you have to supply your passport information at check-in anyway.

Thank you all.
I’m travelling with two separate airlines. Qantas inbound and AirAsia outbound. I have invoices. Qantas called their emailed documentation a E-ticket and Itinerary (with ticket number) while AirAsia just called theirs an Itinerary (without ticket number). I’m just going to play it safe and apply for a Tourist visa.
