About:Urumqi Railway Station

Transfer between Urumqi Railway Station and Downtown

I am interested in using the BRT-5 between Urumqi Railway Station and the Hongshuan exchange station. Could you please confirm if the route starts from the North or South Square of the railway station. I am also requesting details on the average time between BRT-5 departures from the Railway Station and the number of stops to the Hongshuan exchange station.

I suppose you mean Hongshan (Red Hill)? BRT-5 does not go to Hongshan. You can use bus No. 301 instead from the North Square (it also have a stop at South Square). The bus runs every 10 to 15min. Hongshan should be the 16th stop if you board from North Square, (15th from South Square).
