144 Hour Visa-Free Transit in China does it apply

I will be traveling from the USA into Shanghai on October 26, 2019 and departing on October 27, 2019 aboard the Royal Caribbean Spectrum of the Sea for a 7 days cruise of Japan returning to SH on November 3, 2019 and departing SH on November 6, 2019. Will I be allow to use the 144 Hour Visa-Free for this trip?
