About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei
Australia - Beijing - Italy. We arrive in Beijing on 14 May from Australia
And fly out to Italy on 18 May, from what I read this means the 144 hour visa exemption applies. I have however been told by a friend that I still need to apply for a visa before I leave at the Chinese embassy in Australia. Is that correct?
