About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

144 hour visa-free transit in Beijing. Hello, I am a Canadian traveling from Canada to Japan

To South Korea, back to Japan, directly to BJ (staying in BJ only) then directly back to Canada. I hold a Canadian passport and I am a Canadian citizen. Does this itinerary qualify for visa-free transit even though the first and last country are the same (Canada)?

Beginning and ending country are not taken into account. Its country immediately before and after the Chinese city you visit.

Japan > Beijing > Canada is allowed to do the 144 hours without visa
If Beijing > Canada also makes a landing in Japan then you need a visa
